hi all , have just purchased a 53 plate Avensis t3x, picking it up at the end of July

reason for change the Mondeo reached 8 years old was getting board with it. Anyway never had a Toyota before so wots the pitfalls, the Avensis is it a good choise, is there any problems with it,

by the way names Pete ,wrong side of 50 living in Bristol uk

Welcome to the Club, not sure what the pitfalls of having an Avensis are because I've never had 1 (maybe the people in the Avensis forum would be the best people to ask) but the reliabilty of Toyotas are 2nd to none.

Have to say that the Avensis is a pretty solid car in my experience. My Dad has had one for the last 3 years - racked up 105,000 miles and has never had a problem with it at all. Really good all round car, gets you from A-B in comfort and very safe and reliable.
