I like these wheels for my Aygo. They are 4 stud 15’s but I’m not sure if they will fit or not – anyone know ? Am I right in thinking I would need to put 195 / 45 tyres on to maintain speedo output accuracy ? Again confusion here as BK also sell them with rubber but put 50’s on ? ?

On BK’s site you can enter Aygo and get a choice of wheels and this one doesn’t come up ? ? ?

Very nice rims!!

If you want 14 inch alloys, then take 195/50/15 tire

If you want 15 inch alloys, then take 195/45/15 tire

If you want 16 inch alloys, then take 195/40/15 tire

You COULD take for example 15 inch with a 50 tire but then the speedmeter isn't correct anymore.

Allmost each type of rim can be buyed for the AYGO (offcourse not every size :P).

In some shops the breaches in the rims are bored afterwards.

I would buy the 16 inches ;)

Can't find the ET of these rims anywhere - anyone help - they are BK Racing BK318 (15'')

Oh and don't want 16's as the car is lowered anyway and I feel they might just look a bit big in the same way that the stock 14's look a bit small.

Thanks for the link - I've asked them for a price with 45 profiles and also what tyres they fit.

Hi all,

Got my Aygo for 11 months now and I'm thinking of changing the tyres from original 155/65-14 to 185/55-14 and fitting them on the original 14 inch Aygo Sport alloys.(Love the car, but really, the tyres are too narrow for looks on this chunky little car!)

Are these wheels wide enough to accommodate a broader tyre? Anyone tried this?

What about increase in fuel consumption? Has anybody hands-on experience in driving on 155 vs e.g.185 tyres at later stage?

Cheers,

Wouldn't advise fitting 185/55 14 tyres on standard Aygo alloys, don't think the wheel is wide enough to install that tyre. Also your speedo will be miles out as with these tyres overall wheel/tyre diameter would be too great.

I think the largest tyre you can fit to a standard alloy wheel is 165/60 14.

SMW, do you got your new alloys yet?

Don't have them yet as a house and job move recently have changed my priorities - still on the list though so watch this space !

Make sure the offset is around ET 37 to get good clearance of the rear arms and front bodywork. The rest is up to you. If you put wider wheels on i have found you will need to fit stiffer suspension to stop the wheels from rubbing on the arches when cornering over extreme bumps. Hope this helps.
