Turbo Boost Gauge

hi ive got a jap gt-four st185 can anyone :help: me on how to fix my turbo boost gauge. it is set at 0 moves down when i turn the ignition off and up when on again but if i drive it and i can feel the turbo kick in its still set on 0 and only moves to just under the first bar how do i fix it without buying an external gauge if u have a web site to help or have some pics of the conections to check for leaks or somthing would help me very much

Where have you got it plumbed into? Best place is the blanked off pipe directly behind and towards the bottom of the intake manifold. :thumbsup:

Dak I think he's on about the stock boost gauge isn't he?

In which case if I remember correctly it's an electric one run from the TPS on the 185 ain't it?

Check the function of the TPS and make sure the pipe leading to it isn't leaking.

As for where it is Dak will have to fill you in on that, don't really know the 185 bay that well :thumbsup:

Oh..... That one :rolleyes: . The one that no one takes any notice of cos they`re pants. So slow to register you may as well not have it. Get a decent aftermarket one. Worth every penny. :thumbsup:

thanx guys yes its the stock one. il just get like u said an aftermarket one i was just trying to keep it original apart from the engine which i have BIG PLANS

If you`r e going to do anything major to the engine and/or turbo, you will definately need a dcent boost gauge. Get the best you can afford. It`ll be cheaper in the long run. :yes:
