Looks like they used some left over tinting film, good idea!

I had my fronts tinted in a lighter shade, because I felt like a taxi driver with the passengers hidden and me on view, especially with the niose of the diesel engine!

I have to say though, tints look loads better on a dark car like yours

Tints look good mate!

I had my pickup done a few months ago with a dark tint but wish i'd gone for limo now as you can see through mine quite easily if the light is at certain angles. Wish i'd had the fronts done too rather than just the back.

I thought the black would absorb light and make it warmer in the cab but you're right, its loads cooler now, deffo recommend it to anyone who's thinking of it. I used Executive tints in Burton and would recommend them to fit it.

You guys do know that it is illegal to have your front windows tinted.

It's not illegal ot have them tinted - only illegal to have a dark tint. If you stick to the 25% level you'd be ok. I'd go for the dark tint anyway and take my chances to be honest. You'd be very unlucky to get done for it. In the unlikely event of getting stopped you'd likely just get a producer and told to remove the tint.

just why i didnt have the fronts done you see.

yes its illegal , even the tinting places know this and the police , but the police wont stop most people , they kinda opt to target young boy racer types , plus if you ever have an accident i recon things could get pretty messed up if you have had the fronts tinted . My surf don't look out of place at all with the back windows tinted but not the fronts. I maybe need to post some pics of it side on from a distance so you can see.

Nearly all of my Surfs have had tinted windows, but one that I imported last year was not, really looked out of place against the others, sold it to an old boy who didnt seem to give a sh*t if it was or not.
