Outside Air Temperature Sender

2005 Corolla . Where is the outside air temeperature sender located. Mine appears to be faulty and I would like to test it.

Many thanks for you reply. I just wanted to check it out as it is reading some 10c degrees too little and has only moved from 26c to 28c when the temperature is about 38c at the moment. As it is under warranty Toyota may as well do the whole job as it is not worth my while to take the bumper off to check it. Only thing that has gone wrong in 18moths and it is more a niggle than anything else so I cannot complain.

I looked at the matter this morning. The sender is clearly visible behind the radiator grill. It is positioned at the bottom of the radiator in the centre. By removing three screws attaching part of the underneath panel to the bumper part of the panel can be dropped sufficiently to gain easy hand access to the sender from below. This can be done with the car on the ground.

Regret not able to add some pictures which would have shown the matter clearly.
