Hello everyone

Im new to the forum, Im pleased to meet you all. I like your forum too.

Ive just bought myself a SS1 4ws import Celica.. sorry only one pic at the moment!

celicacolor.jpg

The car goes fantastically well, I know its only a 140BHP model but Im enjoying driving it. The time might come when I need more power but for now Im liking the comfort and quality of build/engine compared to my previous VWs! The cars got all the toys. 4ws, air con, sport button (?), elec mirrors/fold back, elec windows and tilt n slide sunroof, and a funky blue button for the front fogs!?

Couple of queries if someone would be kind enough to make some suggestions:

1. Whats the colour and paint code? Its a sort of Bluey-slightly-greeny metallic

2. Does the sport button adjust the dampning? or what?

3. Wheres the best place to buy spares for it? My local dealer (stealer) seems very unfriendly! Im in North Kent/South London way.

Ill post some more pics when i get my camera back.. Cheers guys!

Hi,

Welcome to the club. I'm pleased that you are pleased with your new car. I've only had mine a month or so and still have a huge grin everytime I see it :D As mine's a UK car I don't know your paint code or what the sports button does but the guys on here a awesome and are sure to tell you all you need to know about your car.

I'm in the Dartford area but not bought too many parts yet. Go to Toyota in Sidcup for genuine parts, (I have only bought genuine timing belt, coolant and oil filter after advice from this forum, almost everything else can be copycat parts) Chastillion near Erith is good for most parts and they are very helpful and seems cheap enough. I'd probably get parts online from places like buypartsby or Fensport. Also read the sticky on TCB. They are very useful.

Keep an eye out for me if you are driving round Bexley and Dartford. B)

Ben

Hi and welcome to TOC!

Nice car you got there, your colour code is likely to be 752 - Storm Blue Metallic ;)

Unsure about your sport button, but for spares, check out TCB, and enjoy your stay
