just bought 2 5ltr tubs of red coolant (no longer seems to be branded forlife) from mr t. am going to change it this weekend.

1. am i right in thinking that 7 ltrs is about right for my tubby?

2. mr t say it is a bit of an ***** because of air blockages and advise lifting the front pipework as u fill the back. has anyone changed their own coolant and is it an *****?

any help would be great

cheers

easy job, don't know why people say its hard, all you need to do is fill from the pressure cap. First attach the 2 lengths of clear pipe that came with the car to the bleed valves on the top of the rad and heater matrix tape them up to the bonnet then bleed both valves put heater on hot, fill, bleed, close valves, run engine, turn off, bleed again then top up job done.
