Hi all, dumb question but how the hell do you get at the number 4 plug? It seems a bit over the top to have to remove the intercooler. Any help would be great, thanks. Oh yes I have a Caldina GTT which has the 3S-GTE engine fitted.

remove the intercooler , its the only way, there is a drain plug for it at the left front of the radiator.

Thanks for that, I have just been reading that you only need to change the plugs every 65K or so, So it aint that daft then ;)

iridium plugs are supposed to be changed every 60k

That figure applies to the platinum ones as well according to the Toyota handbook.

Call me old fashioned and extravagant but i intend changing mine every 10k regardless.

Not necessary unless you are using copper plugs (which you shouldn't be)

I know. But i`ve always been paranoid about plugs. Years of messing about with Champion plugs.
