Seems a bit mad to change the name. Toyota has sold millions of Corollas, I'm sure they can carry on doing that.

Yes,you're absolutely right! I think the same.Everybody in the world knows that Corolla means Reliabilty and i think it'll be stupid to change the name! Ford did it because Escort didn't have good reputation,but Toyota has no reason to do it.The only point i see is that Toyota want to break up with the Corolla reputation for a dull design.
