Air Con Question

Had the Air con on for a good length of time yesterday and after parking the car I noticed dripping from the underneath of the car, roughly in the middle and behind the front wheels.

After inspecting it, it was deffinetly water as opposed to oil or anything like that and it had a similar smell to the air con.

Is it leaking or was the dripping some sort of condensation caused by the air con?

After a while it had stopped dripping and dried up completely.

This is normal, it's the condensor in the A/C system, all the heat need's to go and moisture is created in the process and you are lookling at the run off

Dont worry mate as long as it's crisp and cool in the car you got no worries. There is also a discussion of A/C on the general discussion thread which is interesting.

There is a drip pipe in the passanger side footwell under the carpet and up a little, passes through a large rubber grommet I espect it was that. its almost in the middle of the car, just back a little from the front wheels.
