Hi Guys

Just had a new XT4 in May now done 1500 miles from new

35 mpg around town and 40 mpg on a run (thats if I can get the keys off the missus :crybaby: )

hopefully get 8 to 10k on the clock and I hope to see the engine loosen up and produce even better results

What is everyone else getting out of their new Rav ;)

most interesting ..thanks for the input

nice to know how others are getting on with mpg

they tell me the toyota engine takes a while to settle in.. 8 to 10k like most diesels

I'm really impressed at how nippy it is to drive although the 6 speed takes some getting used to after my auto ghia x estate.. t180 must be a blast to drive!

Well worth it I would say 30 mpg is good

I did look at the T180 but the price was over my budget slightly but must say it looks like a great motor I must try and get a demo one for a day

Perhaps go for one of those when my current one is up for the chop

Just took delivery of a T180 so still running in. Just clocked up 800 miles but returning 41.5 mpg, mostly A-road and M6 Toll.

Acceleration in 3rd, 4th and 5th is fantastic. Really impressed so far.

As I said, still running in so no full throttle 5000rpm yet. Mainly country A road driving so average about 50mph with the odd bit of overtaking fun. Tend to stick to 70 to 80 mph on the M6 Toll road, let the BMW driver's get caught by the unmarked police patrols.

Friend of mine was pulled over at 95 by an unmarked silver Skoda Octavia. Be warned!

:P Hi Pete, i get 28.4 out of my 2006 petrol Auto, don't know if thats good, but i've only done 1700 miles and considering the weather with the air con on all the time i don't suppose thats bad, even though the book says 31.6 mpg, i'll keep an eye on it.

nice to see a few replies and 30 to mid 40's petrol & diesel

nice few replies here with different models

I need to give my rav a good run out see what I can get mpg as its mainly around town that I drive

The thing I really miss on my model is auto & criuse control do sometimes wish i went for the T180 for the extra performance

anybody got any negatives on their new rav

always seems a bit quiet on this forum
