They would be expensive since they are probably double platinum or even worse Iridium electrodes. You must consider these modern spark plugs runs with much wider gap since the electronic ignition generates much higher voltage than the old distributor type ignition. If they are Iridium type the electrodes are also much narrower in diameter, almost as small as a fine pencil tip. In any case I think the Iridium plugs last about 15 000 miles before they need replacing.

The 1.8 VVTi (engine code 1ZZ-FE) I think has used the Iridium plug from when it was first introduced. Other Toyota engines with distributorless ignition also probably use Iridium plugs. They are expensive but last for long and with excellent performance.

Yes only use Iridium plug on our year cars. I got mine from toyota parts as they were cheaper than anyone else  (yes you read correctly) they are Denso Iridium SK20RP13 (toyota part number T90919-01212) @ 9.31+vat each.

The best thing to decide if you bought the correct plugs is to read the owners manual. Usually you can find wich different plugs that is ok in that book. There are different sites at internet that sell plugs and most of them do tell you wich plugs that is ok to use with your car. Some of these sites do have a cross reference too. I tried to use a cross reference on those plugs you mentioned, but it was recognised. It might be different plugs if you have 1.6 , 1.8 or 2.0 lit engine in the car.
