Well ....... we all know about the TTE etc ECU chips that up's the BHP of the car but what else is there?

Im looking for something along the lines of an induction kit (if posible?) something that won't brake the bank or pay for an extra holiday for the insurance company.

What about performance panel filters? Do they exist for Diesels?

So any ideas, links etc as Im all ears  !

I cant see any reason why there wouldnt be performance filters etc for diesels

but as you mentioned, a TTE/ piggy back ECU is gonna be best £ for BHP imo ;)

as far as i know, nothing beats ecu remapping / chipping for performance gains in turbo diesels..... and yes, panel filters do exist for diesel engines

Dave, I've got a jetex panel filter in mine - it makes the engine much smoother revving than standard. In fact, when I used to put the original in for services it felt like I had strangled the engine. For £30 its a pretty good perceived gain/buck ratio...

There's also a school of hought that says an Apexi would fit nicely in the space left if I removed my standard airbox, but tbh I haven't followed up on that.

Remember I'm talking about the Yaris here, but the Jetex website ( www.jetex.co.uk , unsurprisingly) has a fair old list of applications.

Alan

Cheers .... thats the panel filter for £40 notes (Not bad price - similar to K&N prices)

Just hope that it's easy to fit like the yaris ;)

I'll save for the rest and let you other folks know what it's like
