Alterations To The Basic To Improve Bhp And 0-60

Have read a few threads on here to improve the cts, the typhoon filter extra 15 bhp...etc etc.............What can i do to improve the acceleration and the brake horse power, mine is out of warrenty next march so want to spend some money on really improving performance (best thing would be the supercharger) but what basic improvements can i make to see the benefit ???.

Don't think any improvements will beat the Type R or the GTI but anything is better than getting smoked by those 2

weight reduction such as removing spare wheel should definitly help in your 0 -60 time....

Short of removing your rear seats, spare wheel and tools, not a lot, the typhoon kit, and other induction kits in general work well. A high flow cat seems to have mixed reviews, not something i tried. One definite winner though is a power-fc ecu, and having the engine tuned, there is a lot of midrange power to be had through ecu tuning. Pricey though.
