Should be around the 7 second mark, but feels quicker.

Remember these are factory book times.. you can beat them on the strip. Mine is defo under 7 seconds.

Magazines like Revs and Max Poo often beat the book times.

It feels like 2 seconds for the Turbo....

scary as hell when I first floored it from zero.....

went from a 1.6 16v megane coupe to a MRII Turbo... BiG difference !

I also majorly red lined it today in abour second gear.... thought I killed the poor bugger. After 5 mins all was back to normal... I'll prob kill either my car or me within a month.

Why don't you lot cut the :censor: , stop boasting and grow up. I bet your girlfriends think 3 inches :hokus-pokus: is 12 inches. :D

Seriously folks:

Standard UK MR2 GT2.0 16v will just make 60 in 7.4 seconds, with a smelling clutch, burning rubber, dry road, expensive timing equipment and driving by a pro.

The rest of us will be lucky to get there in 8 dead.

Can't comment for the jap imports or the turbo - maybe about 4 inches.
