Corroded Bulb Holder.... Help!

Ok... one of the rear lights on the Supra is out. ( I know this is about a sUpra, but it's more general orientated than to the supra...ta).

Took the bulb out, and it looks fine, but the bulb holder is very corroded and not nice looking. Is there an easy way to clean it up?? As most probably it's not getting a very good connection, hence the non-working bulb.

Yup, same happened to me ona side light bulb.... I replaced the bulb holder.... -if you can ge the old bulb out you should be ok with some same paper adna small wire brush, if like mine it was corroed to the point that the bulb and bulb holder became the same entity, replace it!

 I soldered wires directly to the bulb when makigna rear foglight too... and hit it in the rear cluster for a "factory" look..... if I ever bought a car from a factory with wiring like that I'd not be best pleased!!!!
