I'm Having A Problem With My Corolla Sr5 Starting After I Turn It

Alright, so I can start the car just fine but when I'm driving I have a hard time giving the engine enough gas to move the car faster. I've tried holding down the gas pedal, but it takes awhile for the speed to increase.

Also, when I turn the car off from driving then turn it back on it dies. Like it will not start up again. I try and I try, but it doesnt start.

I have a carboreutor in the car, it is a Toyota Corolla SR5 1986. I think it might be vapor lock, but I am not sure.

Any help would be great. Thank You.

When was the fuel filter last changed - should be about every 25,000 miles.

Fuel Filter is brand new.

Fuel Pump is fine, carbouertor is also clean too.

I have a question though. On the vacuum advance unit, there is 3 wires. But one of them doesn't connect to it because the other two are on the vacuum advance unit connecting it to the distributor.

What is that other 3rd wire? Where does it go to?
