Hey everyone! Finally decided to post some pictures in this section of TOC, the car is not entirely mine as when it was kind of given to me, i haven't found a single insurance office to cover me even third party, gues the drop top and 5 points on my license aren't helping at all :( well any how, the car is 2001 and is an imp[ort straight from Japland, had 4k on odometer when it arrived, to be honest im loving the car, its pretty simple and fun to drive exactly what i would want from a small convertible :) here are couple of pictures:

hope u like it, btw the interior is red so the white-red color combo is awesome, at least for me :P once i get a chance to make some better pics ill post them up.

P.S.

does any one here know of the prices for a new soft top, from a dealer or anywhere else? any help on this would be appreciated

Hye man have you tried Kosmos Insurance? That's who i'm with. It's probably be easier anyway if you have yourself as a named driver and one of your parents on the insurance, there shouldn't be a problem then

Nice car

A new soft top will set you back around £900 - £1200 (here in the UK) then there is the fitting charge on top.

They pop up on eBay from time to time.. or search the breakers.

Looking good

Must be frustrating having it stood there and not being able to use it :(

When you do get a replacement soft top they are a right pain to fit, there is a guy on another forum that has had one done under warranty by dealers and it has taken SIX goes to get the fitting right

lol thanks for the comments guys, well yeh it does kind of make me feel sad as i can't drive it whenever i want to, but that way im still alive :P, the car has its original clutch and in good condition too, tyres are going to last much longer hehe i will get insured on it eventualy, and then 'hello dolly' will rape the poor car with drifts, gotta love it here in cyprus as the weather is allways hot and dry so u get the max out of the drop top:)
