Hi can any body suggest what might be wrong Car at present on the back of a AA wagon on it's way home

just had the thing 4 months... oil light came on and I think it was the transmission light (Orange picture of engine ..sorry girlie thing)

car started to make funny noise rattling (a bit like the sounds of a diesel engine) so I pulled in... AA man not sure what it is but said intermittent

and mentioned something about the engine management light....sounds expensive

Car is four year old

Go to MR T and let them read out your computer so they can see what caust the motormangement light came on

is there enough Oil in the Motor , check your dippstick

From what you're saying the red oil pressure warning light came on yes?

If that's right then the bearings will be shafted. With the big end bearings gone it'll be getting odd firing characteristics hence setting the orange check engine light on. This will be a replacement engine job.

If my understanding is wrong and you haven't had a red oil pressure warning light but just the orange check engine light then it'll be a sensor/wiring issue somewhere
