On a side note... Go with the AA and get the relay option which will take you to a destination of your choice along with your passengers anywhere in the UK.

I know this as i just joined a couple of days back as my wifes car broke down and it was cheaper to join and wait 24 hours before calling them out then to get it towed privately. :)
