You need to search eBay or similar for a TNS-200 unit or a TNS-300 unit. The big problem (as far as I can tell) is trying to get the appropriate wiring loom to attach the unit to the rest of the car.

Personally, I think you'd be better with a Tom Tom or equivalent. Cheaper, more comprehensive and easier to read/use/see.

Hope that's some sort of help,

Alan

do not waste your money on the tns 200, its not that great. its ok for free though (in my case)

buy an aftermarket one, i know its not neatly in the dash but the tns 200 is cack

The standard Toyota GPS are fine software wise, but the screen they are displayed on is tiny.

I have a TomTom in my car, it works with my PDA - you get a nice big, colourful & bright screen.

I'd give TomTom probably 8 or 9 out of 10 tbh, its really good :)

doesn't it cost about £800-£1000 for the standard toyota sat nav, for just a few hundred quid you can get a tom tom and they are much better and have a bigger screen.

Can I ask why you specifically want the one to actually be permanent in the car itself and not a portable one?
