My Mr2 Journey Begins

GT4 BOOSTER

hello guys i pick up this lil gem on monday night , its a 1991 sw20 t-bar , 141,000 miles , BUT with loads and loads of service history , its just passed its mot with no faults found , comes with t-bar bags and blinds, spotless apart from a patch of rust on the drivers door and a bit where the t-bar roof meets in the centre , but nothing drastic if i catch it now.It started ok from cold , no smoke or lumpiness , even though its been raining up here all night and day.Just needs a bit more tlc from a toccer and it will be a really nice looking motor. i have lots of questions and probably alot more to keep you mr2 ers busy , here's a few pics for now.

11.75 is a good price.

Cheaper than Demon Tweeks with Goldy discount, they've got it at £11.95 (Ex VAT)

AGH !!! forgot how well gear oil smells - fkin stinks to higher heaven. :ffs:

anyways popped to mr.t and held the guy to ransom , and he delivered - 3 fresh litres of gearoil - poured it in - lol dripped it in via a funnel and a length of garden hose - results were amazing , better changes all round.

the oil that came out was red and very runny , so i'm assuming that was redline oil - how long its been in there is unknown.

thats me done with the 2 now , all i need to do is drive the thing.

3 weeks and 200 quid later - sweet as a nut. B)
