Corolla Compressor Supercharger Questions

does anyone know what make the corolla compresser supercharger is? I'm guessing its probably an Eaton but not sure.

also are the elctronics of the compressor the same as the bog standard t sport or has some fiddling been done?

was thinking if a supercharger was a bolt on upgrade with a new belt or if it was more strife than it was worth.

I'm willing to bet the ECU is different as the standard one will not know what positive pressure (boost) is. Fuelling will need to be modified - there will be some serious bracketry required. My advice would be to get hold of a copy of a book called Supercharged! by Corky Bell (and read it cover to cover) before you start.

correct me if i'm wrong - and i probably am

but the fuel is a function of the mass air flow, would the mass air flow sensor simply compensate for the increased MAF?

there is a little "voltage clamp" added to allow the ecu to compensate, its located in a 5 wire box thats fitted to the ecu

Depends if you have flow meter or MAP sensor

Thanks for that Matt - I wondered how it was achieved
