Interior Swap

Probably been asked already but ive been offered a good clean gen5 interior (seats,f&r) and as mine are showing the usual gen 6 bolster wear I need to know if the 5's will go in. The 5 interior I have to say looks better quality and not as roary, any help please.

Agreed. Certainly the front seats are interchangeable. The internal dimensions are pretty much the same.

sorry to disagree - front seats need the Gen 6 mounts curtting of the runners and welding onto the Gen 7 runners.. backs fit in perfect though - albeit with a small gap around the side of the base.

When they're in they look great though - got a nice set of Gen 7 leathers in my GT !

Thanks for the replies guys but still no definative answer and I cant take the chance of buying it ,sight unseen, and worry about it fitting . So unless anyone knows for sure looks like ill have to give it a miss!!
