First post by the way.. had my Yaris for about 5 months.. just been doing little things like some inner chrome styling :D

I've been looking for the last hour, that some guy was going to paint his yaris black on top and an orange undercoat..

i was bored at work so I photoshopped this...

-linky-

basically the same idea, just with my photoshopping :D

wish my Yaris didn't have a huge dint in the back of it tho.. some 15 yrold kiddo off his face on Lambrella decided it would be clever to ride his bike into the side..

I'll post some pics up later :(

Thanks, I'd love to get something like that done.. just a little too pricy for me, so I'll have to live with my photoshopped one for now :D

Anyway..

I would do mine a little like

Yaris%20please.JPG

or maybe with black at the bottom. its nice because the bottom colour, follows the natural lines of the yaris.

Sorry to sound like a newbe, but does any one have a clue how much it would cost to get this done.

I would need the whole car done as it's blue at the moment.

In my mind I've got £3000.00 as a figure, is that right? for the south-east.

(also sorry for hijacking the thread - djdawson)

Silver & Blue would look ace I'd reckon mate... as in Silver top, blue bottom...

Normally a re-spray costs about a grand depending on where the place is.... but if you're only doing half a car it should be less (she reckons! )

Silver & Blue = Mint!

hehe, hijack away :D

Silver & blue would probably be the colours I'd get done, but i'd go for a really nice deep blue :D

I've heard about £3000 for a car before somewhere.. but I'm not sure.. probably best off taking a photo and asking how much :P

I'll photoshop the silver/blue onto it and see what it looks like :D

lol @ earpl too

Yeah I'm liking the Blue idea.

if it's a £1000.00 like Demonic Angel siad i'll do for it. it's just my blue is, "Night Shadow" it's nearly purple lol.

I'll have to mock it up and see.

Silver & Blue = Mint!

I agree, they're both excellent colours on their own & they go together superbly, does need to be a dark blue though so you get a good contrast

Mines going to need a full respray, as it's a light colour blue,

Front%20Left%20Sml.JPG

but yeah "oxford / navy blue" at the bottom and silver at the top.

Nah, not necessarily, yours is dark blue (very similiar, if not identical to mine), silver would still produce a lovely contrast. If I was going to get respray work done to mine though I'd get the lot done to get rid of the hint of purple that I've been constantly denying exists.

That post was a bit confusing, lol so your saying you don't have to do it, but you would.

Yeah, I'm saying it would look good without changing it but I personally don't like my paint so if I'd change the lot if I was getting something done, if it didn't have the hint of purple I'd just get the silver put on, depends if you like the original colour or not.

I've kinda grown to like it, but wouldn't miss it.

I think I would get a darker blue on there, because as you said, it does have a hint of girly purple in there :D

I think it would cost more between £2000-3000 to get full respray!

Earpl likes 15 year old boys on bikes?

Go for the Carlo Blue re-spray and silver....

I was gonna try and photoshop it, but made a mess, but I reckon that'd be super cool!

I Agree, I think Carlo Blue is just the right darkness. I'll Paint Shop Pro it later.

Thanks for the Advice DA
