Pre- Cat Removal

Okay guys. I've been reading about the pre cat problems and how most recommend it's removal asap.

So what I'm asking is who's done it, how easy was it and are there any problems with MOT emissions? My Husband has looked at diagrams on how to remove it and he seems to think it's a relatively easy job as he's worked on things like this before.

My roadster has just turned 40K miles, it's not burning any oil and hasn't got an oil leak. It hasn't lost any power so I'm hoping all is well

We'll be checking this weekend (weather permitting!) whether the pre cat is still there or not. Goodness knows what we're going to find..... :o

Cheers all

Amy.
