Carina Mkii Clutch Judder Problem

Hiya people,

This is my first time on this site so you'll have to excuse me if I ask silly questions...

I have a Toyota Carina MkII (1989 G-reg), 1.6 litre 16-valve B) . The problem I'm having is that the car often 'judders' as you bring the clutch up to biting point. It's at its worst when pulling away or in low gears with low - med revs.

I've had the clutch changed (inc skimming of the flywheel), the carburetta overhauled, engine mounts examined, and the hydraulic clutch fluid changed and bled. But still the problem persists. It's the only thing that's letting my car down coz the rest of it's in pretty good nick.

I dont want to have to sell the car but it's becomming expensive as the cost of having the work done is now nearly as much as I paid for it! :ffs:
