Ok, strange question :D

Do any of you have a childs seat (age 3+) in the back of your Gen6?

Realised that the current one just wont fit, so need to find one that will go (when I get a celi!)

Either that or I'll just leave her at home

Not got any myself but there's a few couples with kiddy seats on the GT4OC that fit, bare with me and I see if I can find out what make.

My nephew goes in the back of the celica - he is just coming up for 3 - His old seat didn't fit at all nut his new one fits perfectly.

It's one of the recaro ones - the one with built in Speakers for his mp3 player.

It's got a plastic shelf thing in the bottom which fits snuggly into the shaped seats.

It's a bit like this one:

Had a look on gt4oc and although loads of people seem to have kiddy seats in the back the only mention of make I could find was the Recaro ones which as sotal said seem to fit.

To be honest most of the time he has his DVD player plugged in with a screen on the back of the headrest and he can sit and watch Bob the Builder and Batman, but in terms of music he likes listening to heavy rock and sits there nodding his head to the music

Are the back seats in a 202 the same as a 205?

If so it has been covered recently on the GT4OC and if I pinch gt4ever's words...

"I have found the perfect fit seat from 9kg upwards. I tried out many and this one fits like it was made for the rear buckets.

MAMAS & PAPAS PROTEC

I had it tested by a woman thats been on all the car seat and safety courses and she says its perfect"

Best bet is to go down to an outlet which sells or specialises in Child Seats. Definately spend the money and get a good one, it's amazing the difference a good child seat will make in the event of an accident, the older Celic'as am going to guess do not have ISOFIX fittings which make an amazing difference to your little ones safety...

Remember in the event of an accident you are relying on that seat to protect your little loved one, a cheap seat will offer little protection so it is important you find one that not only fits the car well but also offers the heighest level of protection you can afford.

Child seats are not all the same!!!
