Well its getting darker earlier again damnit and its made me notice that i have a number of bulbs out in my dash, so seeing the speedo is a chalenge :D

Been through my Chiltons book and it looks pretty easy to take it out and replace em, i just cant see what sort of bulbs i need. Been looking at some of the nice blue ones on eBay so may well get some of them, if anyone can tell me which kind i need.

Cheers!

Don't know the code but if you post some pictures of the ones you think they are then I'll tell you if they're right!

They're wedge type ones, bulb at the top going down to a rectangle of glass with the contacts on either side.

I've put blue ones in mine and they're not brilliant to be honest. From memory I think there are only 3 which cover the whole panel for the speedo/rev counter/fuel & temp.

Cool cheers, thinking of getting some from HERE as they seem pretty reasonable. There aer LED ones too which may work out brighter/better. Anything ring a bell?

These look like the type:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/121-Dashboard-Light-...oQQcmdZViewItem

I'm pretty sure they were 10mm

Led's Should be better but will be more expensive.

I think the reason they were crap on mine was becasue I've got the Lockwood White Dials With green writing so you just end up with the blue being turned back to green and then you get blue coming out from the needles. It's darker than it used to be and the blue is very pale.

If you don't mind the expense definatley go for the LED ones

Have a read of this topic if you want LED's:
