Hi, from the moderation team. A number of members have been enquiring as to who can help with certain issues, we're here to try and clarify who does what and who you can turn to when you need a helping hand or are unsure what to do. Hopefully this thread will make things a little clearer!

TOC is a private forum which relies on it's members to help each other out, share experiences and opinions and help out other members. There are various members of the TOC Team who also assist in the day to day running of the club by donating their own time and effort to try and keep things running smoothly and ensure TOC remains a friendly place to be. TOC is a non-profit club and as such all of the moderation team are giving their time to help a club we all love and want to see continue to be successful for many years to come. We won't be listing everyone by name as people change over time and every moderator works as a team to get answers as quickly as possible.

Below are the various roles which make up the moderataion team and what each group can do:

Steve/Admin

Steve founded the club a good few years ago as a home for all Toyota Enthusiasts, new or old, modified or standard, TOC is a forum for absolutely everyone who supports the Toyota Brand.

Steve is responsible for maintaining the day to day running of the club, looking after the Servers, updating the software, maintaining the user databases for the clubs and looking after the club finances. It is Steve who has the final say in what happens to the club although has delegated the visible running of the club to numerous Moderators, Super Moderators, Editors and other role specific Users. Steve is really the last resort for people to turn to if members feel that they are not recieving the help or support elsewhere.

Ken aka. The Management

Kens been the face of TOC for years, arranging meets, arranging pretty much all of TOC's largest events and also maintains a good working relationship with our friends at TGB.

Ken knows better than most what is going on with TOC and is the person who most people see as running the club from a members point of view.

Super Moderators

The Super Moderator team are no different from moderators with the exception of having a few extra buttons to play with, it's the Super Moderators who have the ability to change people's profiles and signatures where needed. Super Moderators also have the ability to box, move, merge and edit posts when the need arises. If you any member feels that they are recieving pm's or emails from any other member which are either intimidating or threatening please forward them to a Super Moderator as this behaviour will not be tolerated on TOC and action will be taken.

Moderators

Moderators are exactly what the name suggests, a team of people who have donated there time to keep an eye on the posts placed on the club to ensure that all members are abiding by the Clubs T's & C's. Moderators have the ability to box, move, merge and edit posts when the need arises.

If members have any queries or specific questions the best thing to do is either place a post in General Discussions or PM either a Moderator or Super Moderator, we'll all try our best to answer your questions and see how we can help, all of us will see what we can do to help and if we are not in a position to do so will give the best advice we can to help you resolve your problems. If you not happy with any of our repsonses please let us know...

TOC Editors

TOC Editors are those who are responsible for the TOC Newsletters and awards, reviewing and reporting on various TOC meets and keeping everyone informed of various happenings in the club.

Hope this clarifies a little who does what, we're all here to help but please remember were all regular members who are giving our time to help the club, were human to!
