Looking at that the 9.8 1/4 mile time for the R32 that I was told was a little bit out then, oh well still damn fast

Had a great day out, met Nick E and his friends(great set of lads). Also met a very hungover Dawsey who quickly realised as the FWD times started coming in he should have been out there as well, at least he knows for next year

Highlight of my day was watching the Norris Designs Evo going sideways through the cones at the end of the handling track, most amusing for a car that wasn't even supposed to be there

Ryan can you put up a link to the site you got the times from so i can see how they all got on.

 Perhaps dawsey can shed some light then as he was spanner man for fensport.

You should have said you was going Simon, seems we had a little mini meet going on but no one knew it and i could have got a club discount from Trevor if we had enough members going.

At least we know for next year eh

It was meant to be on Sky sports but it wasnt on. Anyone know if they are showing it later in the week?

Cheers Rhaines.

It'll probably be on sky sports at a later date, doubt they'll show it live.

Have been following Sunnys car, hghly specced motor.

Quote from Fiestaturbo.com :

"Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances (and sadly so) his clutch is slipping quite badly and hence can only do runs on 0.8-bar instead of the planned 2-bar. "

Still a very respectable time, matched the top speed record for an RS Turbo!

I take it no MR2 entered it then?

All it says on the site is that it will be shown on skysports in a prime time slot at a later date :(

Seems i missed a fair bit by having to shoot off at 3.15 to go to the midlands mini meet after speaking with Dawesy so can't wait to see it.

yes was an exellent day (well it was by lunch time when i had recovered) some quick cars there but if i had entered i would not have been last by quite a way, as ken said i will be there next year with some mods on the current setup (got to knock that damn maestro off its perch).

the jet car demo was awsome. i dont think ive ever seen anything accelerate so fast in my life. a few highlights was simon norris breaking a diff off the line and another evo having an F1 style blowup after about 1/8th of a mile, ouch. took ages for them to clean the strip up.

to all that went sorry i missed you

:) ah well mate sure i'll see you about soon, i get about to most meets events.

At USC this weekend although this might be the last year i go if this year isn't any better than last was to many :censor: last year and the security was too relaxed

Then i think the next one will be Trax
