Hi,

I know that on imports they were an option before 96 but I think, but not sure, that on UK cars at least the drivers side was standard.

My UK '95 has driver only if that helps. I think the late '95/'96 had both as standard.

mmmm mine is a Jap import?

I can't find any signs, i.e. 'airbag' written anywhere on the dash. The steering wheel looks as if it could possibly have an airbag (only juding by size and shape of steering wheel).

Are there any tell tale signs that I might have missed?

Sounds to me like you don't have any. You would definately know that they were there if you had them

you should have an air bag light up on the dash then go out when all the checks are done.
