Apology To 5-door Owners

Hi folks...

Before i move on to the main business of the post I would like to make a quick, yet heartfelt, apology to those of you I have slagged in the past for having the "family" 5-door versions of the Mk1 Yaris. They truly are wonderful and as good as the 3-door and I was, of course, "only joking". :angel not:

That said, and completely unrelated of course (:ermm:) , does anybody happen to know if 3-door seats will fit in a 5 door or vice-versa and if the mounting holes are in the same places?

I'm pretty certain they are, just I've been asked this question on e-bay...

Cheers in advance!

Alan

Ok so I'm not a five-door owner and therefore not entirely qualified to answer... but...

I dont think fitting is going to be a problem, but surely the mechanism will be, because it wont need the slide/tilt mechanism on a 5-door...

Apart from that the seats are the same (I think!)

So as long as the buyer is willing to put up with the lever on the side of the seats....

Just my thoughts, I'm sure a more qualified owner will be along shortly!

On my 5dr 2004 Yaris Blue (T3 with shiny bits) it's 400mm from front bolt to back bolt on the front passenger's seat next on the door side.

Hope this helps
