Looking good guys :D I've been busy over the last few days so haven't had chance to look at this topic but it's looking good! I managed to get the day off work fine so it's all good! Guys you have organised a meet at a football ground on a Saturday! lol

Sorry I didn't spot this earlier but Oxford are at home on that Saturday and the car park is generally packed from 1-1.30 onwards.

I suppose you would be alright if you are meeting earlier than this but beware that if you go somewhere you will have trouble parking afterwards.

Unless you wanted to sample the delights of Conference football of course!

Obviously the food and drink establishments get pretty busy on a match day.

Here is a list of fixtures http://mincheryfarmweb.co.uk/fixtures.htm So the best match days for a meet would be the non bold fixtures where Oxford are away.

Sorry this is not very constructive, I would certainly make an appearance if I am in the area as I am likely to be but can't promise due to work commitments.

Ok, bearing this in mind, a date change may be in order? I dunno about you lot, but I'd rather not get involved in the busy football traffic....

I would suggest the Saturday after, however I'll be on my way to France that day, so how about meeting on the Sunday rather than the Saturday guys?

Your local football team Oxford United happen to play at this football stadium and the Ozone was added on years after the stadium!

'Kassam' has been scrubbed off most of the signs due to him bleeding the club dry and a new chairman taking over. The city now refers to the stadium as 'The United Stadium'.

Get down and support your local club...

lol I've been to a couple of games, I went to the first one they played there. but I work most saturdays now so find it hard to get there.

I mainly go there for bowling and watch films.

so that's why I called it what I called it. :P
