Hi, just a quick query took my gearbox off last night and replaced it with another box as crunching in gears, noticed the driveshafts on my previous box only move one way (both rotate same way ) where as the new box shafts move in different rotations (one forward one backwards)opposite, is tht right im a bit baffled....?

if both driveshafts rotated at the same time and direction it could of had a limited slip diff.normal diffs one shaft will rotate forward while the other will go backwards but this isnt what happens when driving on the road other wise the diff wouldn,t last long, hope this helps :pepsi::thumbsup:

Tht explains why my Corolla GT is faster than all my mates. Thought it was down to having a aw11 1989 1.6 4age engine.

Also explains why it eats clutches and tyres so easy.

think i'l get it re-conditined and upgrade clutch /lightned fly wheel should work well together.
