Its 03 but its just out of warranty, it had a crash about a year ago and it was the drivers door and i thought it was the crash repair's but it seem it a notorious problem.

I've had a problem with the seals on my Corolla and so have quite alot of other people, there is also just recently another thread about it in the Corolla section.

Even though it is out of warranty I still say that you should take it there and see if you can get them to do it for free as it is a common problem  !

I actually went and got a quote for the seals to be re-done but i also enquired about getting a new rear bumper (from toyota), and it came too £300.

I've got a dent in the lower part of my rear bumper (the part thats removable and not plastic) and toyota said the labour would cost too much to bump it out, and i need a whole new bumper. Little did i know the bottom of the bumper actually clips off and can be replaced itself for about £50. I felt like cause of my age (18) they wanted to take me for a ride!

I should actually add that it wasn't toyota it was their affiliate, they don't have a on site body shop.
