It does look a bit sticky, did you let it dry?

I like the contrast between grey and black, but maybe a matt finish would look better?

Also have you thought about doing the speedo hood to add a bit of balance?

I think the sections look weird.... maybe not if it was a more subtle colour but full on black just looks a bit strange on selected panels...

All or nothing - and it might be the flash/light but it does look too gloss against the matte Yaris interior....

Hmm personally i think it looks incomplete. As you have just added another colour, there are 3 trying to contrast now and has also disrupted the colour scheme/pattern. I have to agree also that in the pics the finish looks a bit dodgy. I would have personally smoothed the surfaces first so as to avoid the gloss black on an unsmooth surface (What is making it look as if it's sticky). If you like it that's all that matter but i would say do a bit more to tie it in a bit better and redo the existing imo.

I agree with demonic it does look a bit weird.

Try adding a logo (toyota maybe) to the glove compartment it would look better ;)

Looks unfinished, especially the gloveys, you've only done 1 (& not even the handle) so it looks like you got bored & can't be bothered doing the rest, if you're going to do something like that you've either got to carefully choose what bits would compliment each other if they were painted or completely go nuts & paint the lot. Also, as mentioned by others, I think it would have looked better if you chose a different colour.

I think it looks fine! Wouldn't do it myself, but it would be boring if we were all the same. I do reckon painting the glove box top and handles might be worth it though ;)

i'm lovin it, atleast its different from all the boring yaris's, being different is always good in my opinion, i would have done that myself but neva had the balls to do it myself incase i bodge it up. top quality stuff i say, makes it look much more high class, again in my opinion, classy. top quality matey and good effort for doin it urself, done a good job i say.

A yaris with a difference

You guys have obviously never seen a "Caravanned" console!

The finish is smooth because he spends ages sanding the pachyderm* texture off it before primering, spraying and wet'n'drying and finally lacquering the part. You'd think it was factory done.

Sorry mate, but yours isn't... :(

*Look it up...

What Alan said.........................I am sorry to say that it looks like you have rushed the job.

It is not to my liking.................but its your own personal choice.

What you must remember is, that when it comes to selling, you might just have a problem.

Sorry to say dude, but it looks like you've just slapped some dulux gloss around the place. No order or scheme to it. Colour doesn't go with anything inside the cabin either. Fair-do's for the effort, but a little more would go a very long way... like Kerby's.

(Just when doing a 'caravan'... don't do a chuck... he knows what he did! )

Sorry mate but I agree with Keanu.

To me its a waste of money, you will find will put potential buyers off when you come to sell ur car.

Should spend cash on performance mods in the future or save for a TS.

The same can be done with 3M Auto Vinyl (Car Graphics Vinyl), and then it's fully removeable when you get sick of it or need to sell the car...I used it on my old Echo Hatch...

The vinyl is very thin and pliable, patience, pulling, stretching, and heat can all help to manipulate it...The vent curves were definitely the most time consuming...

Wow looks good echo rs!

Any sites you can get that from??

Rvinyl.com sells it, as pre- cut kits, also on eBay, but the pre-cut kits usually look cheesy, but they also sell bulk film, it's usually between 4-6 bux per square foot...

Any local auto graphics place should be able to get it in any pantone colour you want as well, I just buy it in bulk, it's easier if you have some extra size to work with so you can stretch the vinyl over the entire working surface...

Cheers
