The same can be done with 3M Auto Vinyl (Car Graphics Vinyl), and then it's fully removeable when you get sick of it or need to sell the car...I used it on my old Echo Hatch...

Cheers

Look, you asked for honest opinions, you can't expect them all to be positive, not everyone will like everything you do....

I mean hey, you just called my car totally dull but I'm not throwing my dolly out the pram and saying I'm not posting anymore!

Maybe if you painted more of it it would look better - people are trying to give you ideas as well - there's no need to act this way at all!

hey , i dont mind honest opinions , but as i said there is honesty then there is people being a bit harsh . Obviously the point of the forum is to listen to everyones ideas and opinions ... but there is no need for comments like this ... :) hey none of you would like it if that was said about your cars !!

looks really good echo, but how do you get it to conform to the contours.

as for the painted black stuf...........ummmmmm.........errrrrrrrrrrr............its..........different. probably looks better in the dark.

Think it looks gash... :(

Oops - someone's taken my words with offence!

Don't take it to heart mate. It's your car, so do whatever the hell you like to it - don't expect to please everyone. ;)

You did ask for opinions though, and I was only being honest. :)

ditto above comment. i think my comment is a matter of fact, in the night, it WOULD look better. medical FACT! and anyway like gnome said, it's your car and do whatever you want to it.

as for my car getting ripped? i'd never stick a thread up askin for views on my work...

....Incoming bluntness (the wesses can hide behind the sofa)...

Look, you post asking for honest opinions, Gnome's was as damn honest as he can get it... it does look gash. That's his opinion. You haven't done a full job, it looks unfinished and the colour doesn't go with anything else inside the cabin. That's an honest opinion... which you asked for. If you'd have said; 'Have a look and tell me what you think (NO negative and honest comments) please' then you wouldn't have received any negative comments, which incidently, are honest.

Iv posted up loads of things on my car... every single time there's somebody who dislikes something and im told so in the bluntest way. It's the only way to be told properly... otherwise people can disillusions of grandur and that's far more harmful in the long-term. Everybody is different, there'll always be someone with differing tastes and sometimes just plain weird ones (Like them skinny blokes who go for 30stone american women... jeeez they need their heads checked) that's life and sometimes part of life is to be told things that you don't want to hear, but to own a car you're over 17 and therefore should be mature enough to deal with the situation.

What Seveer said.

Personally, I don't like it. It looks like the paint has been thinned too much and dried with different amounts of gloss as a result. If that's not the case, let's see some better photos.

You see a lot of painted/vinyl covered interiors across the Atlantic. Some I like, some I don't.

rite guys painted that boring stuff in my car today !!! eventually !! wat u guys think ... honestly ??

dave

Please don't get upset just because you've received some comments you'd prefer, in hindsight, not to have seen. You did ask.

At the end of the day, humans will always have a variety of opinions on anything, if you ask a load of people their opinion, some are going to say 1 thing, some are going to say another, that's what we do. If you ask for an honest opinion about a car mod that's exactly what you get on TOC, you don't get people patronising you by saying "yeah, that looks great" when they don't think it does. Modding is all about personal taste, it's your car, if you like it, what does it matter what any1 else thinks?

..and I'd sort-of managed to sort it out too
