Thinking of taking my bailey DV back and was just wondering if you can use the SARD R2D2 on a ST185,

Heard they sound nice but ive heard some say you can and some say not because of the AFM, but cant see why that would hinder it as it looks like it fits the same. Seen some on eBay.

Anybody Know?

Thanks

Sorry can't help mate. Daktari is the man but I'm afraid he's over the other side of the pond at the moment!

I'm not sure if the R2D2 will be ok but I've heard the C3POs are pretty good ;)

i got 1 of those off eBay for my st205, good bit of kit and with you in 48 hours ( tighten all the allan screws when/if you get it before fitting) - if i remember correctly , a baileys 1 is more suited to the st185 as its duel piston, but please ask martin on his return.

the original 1 is recirculating type and wont make a noise - apparently it does a bit with forced induction kit fitted ???

where did you take the feed from for your boost gauge mate ??

you can adjust the sound by turning the grub screw on the top of it.

If you take the stock one off the air box and cover up the hole it becomes vent to atmos and is pretty loud, at least as loud as the HKS SSQV on me new four

185's sometimes have a prob with atmos type valves as they run an AFM so any air going ito the turbo has the right amount of fuel. when the BOV dumps that air to atmos the fuel is allready there so it goes rich. no some 185 suffer from poor running and some dont. a recirc type wont affect it as the air is still in the system
