Hi guys

3 days ago i decided to remove the cone filter to see how much difference it would do to fuel consumption (as mine was a bit high!) and it !Removed! did :censor: ! Before i was doing 63miles with 10ltrs of petrol , removing the cone filter and placing the standard one and already done 28miles from the next filling of 10ltr my car did 86miles and there is still to go  ! My driving was thesame and i still used the a.c! so i will be binning the whole thing as the power and sound gains are not up with the greater waste of fuel

63 miles on 10l of fuel? That is very poor. Rough calc in UK terms is less than 30mpg :o

I bought an Aygo as I am after 60mpg+ on the motorway.

I've never had a non-standard filter but from things I have read in other forums they will do nothing for performance. I used to own a MINI. They had a big rolling road session and people with other filters actually had less bhp, none showed an increase using a non-standard filter.

We know it's poor. If you lived on an island 17x9 miles with hills galore, the top speed permitted on certain roads is 25km/h in very small towns, on others it's 45km/h and on what we can describe as our "highways" it's an awful 70 or 80km/h without possibility of doing more since the good people with big authority and small brains have also put speed cameras. So for us Maltese it's like driving in a rush hour jam all day!!!!!

:censor: noooo BadBoy i just work for the company ! :ffs: but it has it advantages :D as i get to test them sometimes (with the permission of the authority obviously :P ) Last time i was testing it it said i was doing 134kms B) . ;) ;) ;)

Silvio you know what you have to do! just pass the speed camera and you can drive normally!
