My Baby Is Finished

Had my Celica just over 3 months now and still not posted those pics. I've been working on it throughout the summer as I didn't have a job. Mostly maintaining, deep cleaning and restoring but a few minor mods/upgrades thrown in for good measure. It is finished (for now) and I am pretty happy with the way it is. Let us know what you think

That front lip's wierd... Takes a bit of getting used to, but I think I quite like it! Not so sure about the join on the rear lip to your rear spolier though...

Otherwise, nice lookin motor with some nice subtle mods! Good work...

DF, what do you mean?

The front lip is an odd one. I love it though, I have had it off most of the summer and it looks rubbish without it. The car is far too high and I can't believe thay made them without skirts and bumper extensions, may as well of given it a set of stilts. Silly thing does get caught on my drive and speed bumps so no chance of getting her lowered.

The whole bodykit (inc front lippy thing) and windows were all put on by Toyota when new. Guessing they were all optional extras. The original owner appeared to have chosen all the options (inc leather) except air con! Bit weird I thought but hey, don't feel the need for it much anyway. The kit appears fairly unique as it was an option only on 94s and 95s (me thinks). Skirts are a bit of a pain as I have great difficulties jacking her up at home. Would be impossible when out on the road!

Sorry for late reply. I think I was confused when I wrote the above... I meant the join from rear lip to rear bumper, but having looked again, it looks fine!

Was obviously having an off day... :)

I don't know how to find out about the meets. Really want to though. My friend called a few nights ago and said that I was missing out and would love it but I was out on the town in London that night. Moving to Bristol in less than 2 weeks but will probably come back a bit so let me know if there's another.
