Fog Lights

Do you only put them on when there is poor visability or just whenever its dark because they look good?

Does it annoy you when people have them on and its not foggy?

never had to use mine, doesn't usually bother me if other people have them on, but the other night I was ****** off because someone was driving right behind me and it was reflecting off my mirrors, so I couldn't see where I was going properly.

Don't use them at all now though, only got one as I've got a little cold air feed thing going off on one of them.

Apart from when its foggy :P I use them on country roads because they give better visibility.

Also put them on last week (front and back) when I was coming back from Glasgow. Was absolutely ****** down with rain and could barely see. Makes it easier for people to see you.

Its a good idea to put ur side lights on in light rain and dipped when its heavier.

Think the P2 fog lights are better than the P1's they look brighter

I hate people who put fog lights on to show off, i just leave my full beam on at them!

Not a T Sport owner but I've got fog lights.

Used them once...

it was foggy.

I've used them twice...

once when it was foggy..

and once driving on the M6 in a literal snowstorm - normal beams made visibility 0 - sidelights and fogs meant at 10/20mph I had enough forward visibility at these speeds.

Passed a police car and he didnt seem to mind..

oh, and if you drive around with them on at anytime they're not needed, your an idiot and should have them inserted into your !Removed! while still illuminated..

Think the rain makes it worse for other drivers with the reflections in the water and off of the road etc.

Fogs without fog are annoying and useless :P Plus the Chavs who actually have "cruise lights" in place of fogs are even more annoying as they are even brighter and usually poorly angled so go straight into your eye! GRRR! :P Plus police can do an on the spot fine for having your fogs on when it's clearly not neccesary so must be a reason for that also!

Fog lights are the ronseal of cars....

They do what they say on the tin.... lights for fog!

And other makes of Yaris do have foglights, not just T-Sports.... discriminination I tell thee! ;) I've used mine twice - both in very heavy fog - I dont see the point of using them at any other point!

The fog lights that are factory fitted tend not to dazzle oncoming drivers because they are angled correctly.

I use them on unlit country roads and in really bad weather.

I find rear fog lights more of an annoyance; dumb drivers forget to switch them off. Now they DO dazzle :ffs:

Never had em on! Only had my car 4 months and never been foggy!! People usin them at any time other than foggy conditions want shooting!! they just blind people coming in the other direction

Never used mine, apart from the other day when I could see the front of my car in another cars reflection, so I flicked 'em on to check they both still worked

Use them in fog and bad snow ... cos thats what they're for!

I used to usemine when it was either foggy or heavy rain. midnight b road blasting also causes for it but i turn them off when there are incoming cars. i even wanted to hook them up to my full beam at one point.

but for those idiots that have them on just cos they look good really annoy me, UP comes the flip lights and "ka chow!" heh heh

They're there to be used in poor visibility and that's it.

Don't have any, but even if I did, I'd rarely use them.

Fog lights are one annoyance that moves me to shout and swear at other roadusers.

That, and people on mobile phones...
