What's She Worth Then...

It looks like my Toyota days might be numbered as I'm thinking of jumping ship I'm sorry to say.

Over the last 28 months and 24,000 miles the following has been carried out on my beloved AE92 GTi:

Transmission:

New Clutch - standard

Brakes:

New front discs - Diamond Black Drilled & Grooved

New rear discs - standard

Pagid pads all round

Recon calipers on rear

L & R hand brake cable replaced

Rear brake lines replaced

Braided brake hoses front and rear

Under the bonnet:

Full stainless steel mongoose downpipe back exhaust

Blitz Panel Filter

Magnecor HT Leads

4 x NGK Spark plugs

New fuel filter

New Battery

Handling:

Full set of poly bushes & 4 wheel laser alignment

4 x Goodyear Eagle F1's

Most importantly:

Full respray costing £1500 (see photos below)

During:

The car has 138K on the clock and was serviced by Toyota up until 90K (would need to confirm this, but 99% sure). It is currently on it's 3rd registered keeper.

It currently has 12 months MOT and 9 months tax.

It's my daily driver and still manages to make me grin after 24000 miles. If I could justify keeping her I would, but I can't.

So what is she worth?

noooooooooo dude dont do it.

she has to be worth over £1100 but its a sad fact that they are over looked and usualy in poor condition and go for about £500 on eBay and the like.

if you have a figure in mind stick to it. its too bice a car for some spotty teenager to thrash

I really want to sell it to someone who appreciates the AE92 GTi, but that could take some time :(

I don't suppose you know of any budding enthusiasts? Or have they all been put off by yours? ;)

I know what I would accept for it and I am kinda prepared to wait for the right person, I do genuinely think I'll miss it.

There are 5 GTi finishing on eBay over the next few days, might be an idea to watch them all ,and work out the market value

not off hand, im always getting ppl wanting to buy mine but for some reason the go a bit quiet when i say ' ok lets start the negotiations at £20,000'

ill keep my eyes out though dude
