Thermostat Location

1991 n/a 3sge , i think near the oil filter , anyone correct me on this . thanks

anytips on changing it , looks like a bad job , givin its location .

my tick over runs at just under 1k static , but when i drive again the temp guage drops and tick over rises to 1200 , its not good is it

It's on the drivers side of the engine near the exhaust manafold.

Easy job the hardest part is bleeding the sys when you are done.

Have a Lookie here about bleeding. It's the same on all mk2's

thanks paul , i fitted a new rad a week or 2 ago and had to bleed the system then . mr2oc had all the info . must say without the info i'd of been stumped.
