Exhaust Going After Only 10 Months?

Hey guys, I know I don't post on here much but I do value your knowledge and experiences.

My beloved Mark 1 phase two has started blowing from the back of the exhaust, I only had it at the start of December 05!!

I'm kinda scratchin my head, cause I've only covered 7500 miles, and like i said it's less than a year old, surely this shouldn't happen. This is my second Yaris, and the 5th in the family, I love it to bits but, its had to have some belt thing changed, Mr T didn't give me the locking wheel nut key, so they've had to swop them, and to add insult to injury they scratched all down the drivers door/wing when it was in. Now this...

Just wanted to put it to you guys and gals, and see what you think. Its not blowing bad, but surely blowing isn't good either way??

Many thanks in advance

Dave

If a car is under used it may lead to premature aging on the exhaust where condensaton builds up in the exhaust and it then corrodes...

ADmittedly it shoudln't happen this quickly if it's an 05 plate but luckily you'll still have your manufacturers warranty to fall back on.

I thought they might class it as a wear and tear item, but surely not after only 10 months ( the car is on a 55 plate)

Dunno weather to go to Mr T and have a bit of a go....

I would.... I have a 54 plate T-Spirit and my exhaust is fine after 10,000 miles.... theres a big difference between wear and tear and this IMO..

Give it a go mate and report back to us, whats the worst that could happen? ;)
