Rav 4 Rear Suspension Ball Joints

I have just changed the rear diff bushes on my 1994 Rav4 and in refitting the rear suspension arm ball joints have been unable to find any torque settings anywhere. I have done the ball joints up very tightly as they were very tight to undo, my concern is that I may have overtightened them and damaged them.

Does anyone know the correct torque setting for the rear ball joints?

What happens if they have been overtightened?
