I have been in two minds about the colour for a while (no - not thinking of respray!) as it is quite unusual - actually wanted a black or graphite grey one when I was looking, TBH - but am liking it more and more now - Cadmium Green it is officially called.

That's one lovely looking Rav4 - congratulations! I do think the 4.2 is a very good looking vehicle (arguably better than the 4.3)

Actually, it was my better half's rear end (but I forgive you!) and, the answer is, not yet. I have been "transformed" to MS Office 2007, which has resulted in the disappearance of both my laptop and my desktop pc at hiome. I've only just got them back ("sure, it'll only take an hour and you'll be grand" = two days later......) so will be pm'ing Kingo tomorrow, and then checking when the Visa statement date is, etc, etc....

Still waiting for summer to arrive here in Ireland, instead we're having some rain

Have finally taken a couple of snaps of the better half's Rav4.2, in between rain showers

And one showing its new rear step, courtesy of Kingo. The mounting brackets are ginormous :o an elephant could stand on the step

I think the rear end would be further enhanced by the fitment of a Hoovie exhaust. I was all set to call Kingo, then I bought those wheels.... However, I will be passing Queensferry on Thursday and Friday of next week, so I might just check the price and availability. I might do a drive-by purchase. Next dilemma, should I tell the better half and risk the Wrath of Khan....

You'll never guess what happened! I was driving through Wales to get to Birmingham and one of thoses Dinosaurs appeared. I managed to just out-run it but it had hold of the back of the exhaust pipe and ripped it off. Luckily a super-cheap-bargain-discount Toyota dealership was just down the road so I went in there to get a new back bit.

They didn't have a normal exhaust, but they DID have a Bling Hoovie Twin-Pipe exhaust in stock and as there were 500 policemen outside waiting for me to leave with noise detectors (as that is all the Police in Wales do now), I had no choice but to buy it :o "

Of course, that does mean you'll have to drive the 4.2 instead of the 4.3 ;)

Hoovie, sorry, have only just sussed out what you meant, I have been transfixed by the beauty of your twin pipes, and imagining them attached to my better half's Rav4, that I just forgot about that nice lady who was bumped into the back of mine a couple of weeks ago! You must think I'm bonkers. Yes, thanks, my rear end has been repaired and now looks as good as it did on day one.

You're all just trying to get me into more trouble, aren't you?? It's well known that I need no help at all to get myself into hot water with the better half over "essential enhancements" to her Rav4.2 While I'm surfing or pM'ing Kingo, she's been looking at property in Termonfechin (I kid you not!) because "we need more room". I think the wheels pushed her over the edge They might turn out to be the most expensive purchase I have ever made :o .
