Hello,

Could anyone please advise me on the best place to purchase an owners manual for a 1998 RAV 4 VX (4-door)?

Also where can I find information on Pirelli Scorpion tyre pressures (for the above model)?

Your comments will be gratefully received.

What an amazing vehicle!

Many thanks,

Dave

Hi Dave this is the other type of manual (workshop manual )...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-RAV4-96-02-BR...1QQcmdZViewItem

Its ment for the USA market but does help with UK vehicles :) .

As to the tyre pressure for a 5 door RAV4 like yours.....if fitted with 235/60/14.... pressures 25 psi front and rear  .

Hi Dave

In addition to Bob's info you can also view the entire Genuine Toyota workshop manual at;

It costs €3 per hour but it is really detailed and comprehensive.

Hi,

Thanks for all your help with the manual and tyre pressure questions.

The tyres are: Pirelli Scorpion STR 235/60/R16 (100H) M+S

I contacted Toyota UK for advice and they told me to look for filling station guides near the air pumps - unfortunately I cannot find any in my area.

I also contacted Pirelli who advised me that they do not give tyre pressures.

I find it difficult to believe that the worlds leading manufacturers of cars and tyres are not able to advise the owners of their products on such a crucial safety issue.

I would be really grateful if anyone could advise me on the trye pressure for a Toyota RAV4 VX (5-door) 1998 model with the above tyre type.

Thanks again to everyone thats replied previously.

Dave
