I've been given an opportunity for newer car Which I can't refuse. This means having to consider...........

SELLING ROLLA!!!!!!!!!!

So 21st birthday present might be up for grabs

Although in the short term I'm researching changing policy to TPFT & with Limited mileage, I have to prepare for the worst.

If I cannot keep it, There will be a post in the "For Sale" forum on or after Tues. 26th september.

I'll supply a full list with pics (hopefully) of all mods, accessories, kerbed alloys, bumps, scrapes, dings any failures whatsoever, because I don't want Any used as bargaining tools.

It's taxed & Mot'd till July '07 and Fully insured till Aug '07 So I could keep it for a while longer & enjoy it.

Plus the sound from custom S/stainless cat back exhaust still makes me smile after just over 2months of ownership.

So watch this Space guys (Well watch "for sale" space actually) :)

But it's so nice to be able to choose. After 2 weeks of driving the new diesel Corolla I took the charger out for a spin to Castle Combe on Saturday. I was grinning :D , smiling :) and laughing all the way there and all the way back - had to be so careful with the throttle until I got used to it again :D

Whatever the other car is - make the most of it - and try not to have to sell the Rolla. I remember the first time I saw it (and you) at JAE at Billing as we were leaving on the Sunday - thought it looked good then and still think the same now B)

Thanks, I don't wanna sell my little beasty but i won't hear the end of it from parents. I've tried to use the "this is my hobby/vice" "this is my cigs & alcohol" excuses to no avail. Ppl wouldn't expect me to go for this cos it's a sensible choice, but its too good an offer to turn down

Hints:-

5door (don't have to get out for mates, shorter doors for parking, and have to cope with any changes in my circumstances in future ) or lazy is the shortist way to put it.

diesel (Fuel consumption issues, if I have to commute, Plus helps chances of keeping G6)

I could have waited till next year for new model, but don't like toyotas style direction. (no offence to others)

No I was at work, needed to do some other stuff online for parents. internet at my house is a whole other story linked to sorting BT Landline, ugrading mobile phone and getting free orange broadband.

I wasn't copying you John, honestly :)

I was originally going for colour collection (just to get it in black) but once i ordered Roofspoiler, tints & colour coded front air dam from SR. I was paying the price of the SR without the t-sport 16's alloys. So I just thought "What the hell". Plus now I have a subtle change of colour. I'm already tempted to try my 17's, when it arrives sometime next month. But i'll check forum for existing topics about offsets and PCD's.

So until I get pics up, have a look At John's for now Hope ya don't mind John?

Dawesy If garage was built, it wouldn't be sold at all. I'm trying to delay it as long as possible in the hope I can sort Garage,but what can ya do. Plus I've also finally applied for a new job which pays 5-6K more. so if I got that I could keep it too. Too much at once.

Haha Yes finally got a turbo, I would have liked the 2.2 coming out 07/08 but that falls in2 t-sport money/insurance territory, plus it would only be 3door.

I've already started doing research about the T180 diesel engine out of the new corolla verso into my new one.

As for your other question, I can't speak for john but I've no kids on the way for now (I'm a big kid anyway).

I chose 5doors cos:

1) I'm damn lazy now.

2) I don't wanna have to do like others on here. Get a perfectly good new car, spend time, effort and too much money only to let it go, due to changes in circumstance.

I'll have t-sport touches and and wopping +30BHP more than I got right now

I just lose sunroof, which i can live with. B)

Just got off phone with insurance.

-SR Fully Comp, on road, £30 more than current 'modified' policy + admin cost (£75) :)

-G6 TPFT "2nd car", on road, all mods declared, Limited mileage £388. humph "innercity" postcode :)

It's almost do-able :D Gonna check short term policies aswell :)

Might be able to keep it long enough for garage to be built at least. then SORN it and work on over winter :) cos I ain't going no-where now So need something else to do other than house

Searching for short term quotes today. But I'm in parents bad books now cos I told them I contemplating keeping it. they wanted me to use G6 money to pay mortgage. THATS A BIT TOO SENSIBLE. I think for now 5DR diesel is sensible enough for now, I don't wanna go to far

I could've collected car this coming weekend, but we got friends & family staying, and don't want their 3yr old in it just yet ;) As for looking after it, I've got no choice. the only upsetting thing is not being able to change anything cos of warranty. So standard stereo & bass it doesn't even have mp3 like mom & dad's T180 Rav to compensate for no Changer :( oh well in time they will appear.

So I've got 3yrs to fund & find a crashed T180 Corolla Verso, & leather interior from a 5DR Tspirit.
