Hi, i have just purchased my 1st Toyota... its a 2000 w, Celica vvti 1.8. Can anyone recommend which exaust and air filter upgrades i should be looking at? I'm after a throatier sound coupled with a touch more bhp.

Thanks

Blitz cone filter, or a TRD panel filter - depending on your preference. And the most popular exhausts seem to be the Blitz, or the Japanese TRD one. There is also the TTE one available from all good Toyota franchises, but the centre exit isn't to everyone's taste without a different rear bumper to surround it...

Welcome to the club as well fella!

Thanks Defiantfrog  , I'll look into the Blitz gear.

Is there a comparison chart or website available that shows a rough guide to gained bhp depending on which products you use?

Sorry if i sound stupid  , I'm a total novice when it comes to cars
